DIVE TRAINING

So you have never tried SCUBA before? Interested to find out about Diving?

• The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is for you.
  Discover Scuba Diving is exactly what it says... An introduction to diving. It includes 2 dives one in confined water, such as our pool and then 1 dive in the ocean. There are a couple of basic skills to master before you get the opportunity to see for yourself the under water magic of Palau, with one of our PADI Instructors. This is one the few courses PADI offer where there is no certification at the end of the course.
• PADI Scuba Diver
  This is the second step on the PADI ladder, and is the Discover Scuba plus a little bit more! This course consists of 3 confined pool sessions, where you will get the chance to master skills needed for the open water (ocean) dive portion of the course. There is also some study involved, 2 knowledge reviews and a couple of quizzes to complete. This course takes 2 days and you on completion are awarded with a certification to dive only with an Instructor to a depth of 12 meters/40 feet.
• PADI Open Water Diver Course
  This is a 4 day course, consisting of reading from the PADI Open Water manual and completing the knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter, watching a DVD that correlates to your manual, 4 quizzes and an exam, pool work or confined water skills and 4 open water dives (in the ocean). This is the first level in PADI certifications, after completing this course you will be certified to dive to a depth of 18 meters/ 60 feet on without an Instructor.
• PADI Open Water Referral Course
  Want to get your Open Water certification but want to learn somewhere exotic? Don't want to spend your valuable vacation time studying? You don't have to! Contact a local PADI dive center near you and you can complete the "Study" portion of the course before coming to Palau. Once here you will then complete the remainder of the course with us in the beautiful waters of Palau.
  All paperwork must be brought with you and needs be signed off by your initial Instructor before any continuation of the course.
• PADI e-Learning
  Learning to Scuba dive has never been so easy. PADI e-learning is a very new teaching aid that PADI have introduced this year. Designed for people who wish to study in their own time or have busy schedules, PADI e-learning lets you complete all of the "study "portion of the Open Water Diver course on-line! Giving you more time on vacation to complete the "Water" portions of the course.

  Haven't dived in a while, feeling a bit rusty?

  • Advanced Course
    This course is all about diving and increasing your diving experience and skills. After a deep dive and a navigation dive, choose 3 different adventure dives from a list of many different possibilities.

    Enjoy the benefits of diving nitrox by becoming a PADI certified nitrox diver. Don't wan't to lose a diving day? No problem: NECO can schedule the class work so you don't lose time on the water.
  • Emergency First Response
    PADIs CPR and First Aid course is for divers and non-divers alike. CPR and first aid are prerequisites for anyone wishing to become a Rescue Diver. If you don't have a current CPR and first aid certification we highly recommend this course.
  • Rescue Diver
    Learn to look out for others as well as yourself. This course builds your self-confidence and survival and resuce skills, and is often quoted as the most rewarding scuba course among divers.
  • Specialty Diver Courses
    Gain a knowledge and skills in a specialty in an area that interests you. Gain five specialties and you can apply for PADIs Master Scuba Diver rating - the highest non-professional rating a PADI diver can achieve. NECO offers the following specialties:
    
    National Geographic Diver - can be done as an extra part of the Open Water dive course or taken as a Specialty. Either way this course brings you in touch with the local reefs and what to look out for on your next dive.
